Martin Zet (b. 1959, Prague)
Zet, a graduate of the the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (MA in Sculpture), lives and works in Libušín (the Czech Republic), the town which is one of the thematic staples of his lifelong artistic project – he is the founder of the ZCCA-Libušín association (ZET – Centre For Contemporary Art).
He is an author of video art, installations, artistic interventions and art criticism. For the sake of his creative ventures, he utilises irony and, being a perspicacious observer as well as an analyst of reality, he has a keen eye for the absurd. So far his works have been exhibited in New York, Moscow, Helsinki, London and Poznan, among others.
