Alexandre Perigot

Alexandre Perigot (b. 1959, Corsica)

Currently living in Paris, Perigot creates works which are a direct response to places and contexts in galleries and museums all over the world. In 2008 he had his first Polish exhibition at the Arsenal Gallery in Bialystok. He makes use of diverse forms of expression, including video, installations, photography, music and dance. His artistic output, which explores the yawning gap between reality and its virtual counterpart, in itself a more and more intrinsic element of our 21st-century existence, always requires audience participation.
